About Our Practice
Our practice, Still, is named after the poem by Maya Angelou, “Still I Rise.” This poem has such beautiful meaning in our lives, and we believe in our patients’ lives, and as a practice. The poem is primarily about self-respect and confidence. In the poem, Angelou reveals how she will overcome anything through her self-esteem. She shows how nothing can get her down. She will rise to any occasion and nothing, not even her skin color, will hold her back. We all live with incredible challenges—the pandemic, racism, social unrest, and many more personal challenges. We believe Still can be the eye of the storm… a place of peace…a place to embolden self-esteem through all the decades of our lives… and a community of support.

About
Dr. Julie Nielsen
Dr. Julie Nielsen is a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Family Medicine. She completed her Doctorate at the University of Utah. Dr. Julie also completed the requirements for specialty certificates in Global Health Medicine and Medical Education. Dr. Julie brings 15 years of injection experience and is Still’s Medical Director and expert injector. She has also been a National Trainer for Allergan Pharmaceuticals and trained medical professionals all over the nation in the art and science of injecting. Dr. Julie’s passion is to educate patients about the aging process and become partners with her patients in achieving optimal outcomes. She believes this partnership enables patients to understand their choices and treatment options and creates a bond that will span across the years.
